another IC progress report

Well, I've finally decided exactly what my topic would be and have started on the second part of the project. My topic is the controversy over censorship in public places around the holidays. I know it sounds kind of confusing but I still haven't figured out a way to word it better than that. Basically my topic is over whether or not it's alright for stores and public places to decorate places show show holiday spirit. Example's of this would be something like santa being on display in the center of the mall, or light and decorations being hung from street lamps. My project is to see if it is right to openly express holiday spirit in a public place.
